Congrats...  I have to say that I like the consolation bracket they now have in the Baseball League.  The bottom half of our league was really competitive and any team could have snuck into the playoffs.  At least finishing the regular season in last I had the opportunity to finish out the season.

I actually thought I had a shot at the playoffs, but I had a few late season injuries that I could not patch up.  Mainly Mussina and a few others I had to battle through.  Anyway, we will do it again next year and hopefully I can post a more successful season.

Speaking of football season, I am stinking it up as much as anyone.  For what seems like 5 seasons now I have been searching for a QB.  One of these years that position will not be such a let down for me.  If Hasselbeck continues as is, I might finish this season winless.

It is all yours! That whole yahoo trophy case is messed up... several baseball leagues I have won ( just like you) in the last month, but in the standings I was still listed as 3rd or 5th. Huh
You won the league and you are the CHAMP!!! Wink

Looks like they have it fixed now.  I figure as the regular season champ you deserved to hold it for a day!  Wink

The initial listings always have where you finished in the regular season.  They probably did not update until today.  I wonder why award trophies before the season ends though?  Both of the leagues I played in were tough this season.  I finished last in both during the regular season.  In one of the leagues I ended up winning the consolation bracket and in the BDBL I think if memory serves me correct I improved 3 spots.

I certainly do not know baseball well enough to make a major comeback if my draft does not go well though.  I had ARod and last year he was the best in baseball.  Not so this year and I payed for it.  Still there were some surprises, Thome who I draft first last year was a pretty good utility player this season, I picked him up at some point and other than his late season stint on the DL he was a nice pickup.  He kept me in our race for the final playoff spot that was really close.  The league was much more competitive I thought this season.
